Although the best areas and exposures in the Langhe are traditionally reserved for Nebbiolo, Barbera has shown that if cultivated and worked properly, it can yield exceptional results, as in the case of 'Brua'.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMusso Barbera d'Alba Superiore 'Brua' is produced solely with Barbera grapes grown on predominantly calcareous soils characterized by layers of clay and located between 240 and 270 meters above sea level. When the grapes have reached full ripeness, manual harvesting takes place, followed by destemming and gentle pressing of the grapes. The must obtained is then channeled into stainless steel tanks for alcoholic fermentation at controlled temperature, with several days of skin maceration. The subsequent aging phase takes place \u003cstrong\u003ein 20-hectoliter oak barrels and 500-liter tonneaux\u003c\/strong\u003e for a total period of 24 months.
