First, for about three weeks, some small pieces of bark from China Calissaia and China Succirubra are macerated in a modest quantity of Barolo DOCG. Then, a \u003cstrong\u003eblend of aromatic spices\u003c\/strong\u003e is added, the precise formula of which is still secret today, and is jealously guarded by the Boffa family. To the extractthe aromatic extract obtained is then added a dose of Barolo, and the final infusion is aged for at least 4 months in \u003cstrong\u003eoak barrels\u003c\/strong\u003e.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe Barolo Chinato Pio Cesare presents itself visually with a very deep ruby red color.
