The grapes are hand-harvested usually in the first half of October and are then transferred to the winery for red winemaking with alcoholic fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The fermentation process is associated with at least 10-12 days of skin maceration, with the mass then placed to age in large Slavonian oak barrels for a minimum of 18 months.
