The Doglia Castle, named \"del Terriccio,\" dates back to the Middle Ages and was a stronghold that protected the inhabitants from enemy attacks. In the 1900s, the estate was purchased by the Serafini Ferri Family, who restructured both the land and the building, making it an important hub for the export of corn to Europe. In 1975, Gian Annibale Rossi acquired the estate and turned it into a \u003cstrong\u003efundamental reference point for the production of wines of excellent quality\u003c\/strong\u003e.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe vineyards of \"Con Vento\" by Castello del Terriccio cover about 65 hectares of the total 1500 of the estate, dedicated to various crops including olive trees. An exceptional synergy between soil, climate, and labor has allowed for consistent production, especially enhancing the \u003cstrong\u003ebiodiversity around the vineyards\u003c\/strong\u003e to ensure the grapes of release its best potential: the solar exposure is excellent for a complete ripening of the bunches and the presence of iron and copper in the soil ensures excellent structure to the final product. The grape harvest is manual with a careful selection in the vineyard and in the cellar, followed by a cryomaceration for about 24 hours, subsequently accompanied by alcoholic fermentation and malolactic fermentation in steel.
