It was Les Cretes, in 1993, who vinified a pure Fumin for the first time, decisively contributing to the revival of this Aosta Valley black grape; a revival, a courageous choice that was followed by almost immediate success. Les Cretes is a reference point in the wine scene of the Aosta Valley, one of those companies that have been able to best transfer the peculiarities of the local terroir into the wines produced. And the Fumin is the typical example: from the risk of extinction to being, today, in a phase of truly important production revival. The Fumin from Les Cretes is an important wine, with an impenetrable color and good longevity. It is born from the beautiful vineyards of La Tour and Les Cretes in Aymavilles, from 15-year-old vines and on a morainic, sandy soil, with steep slopes, with an exposure to North\/West and South and at an altitude of 650 meters above sea level. Here the temperature excursions between day and night dominate and develop those aromas and that freshness that we find in the glass, after the Fumin has been aged for a year in small French oak barrels.\u003c\/p\u003ebetween day and night dominate and develop those aromas and that freshness that we find in the glass, after the Fumin has been aged for a year in small French oak barrels. A Fumin that offers beautiful notes of underbrush, with blackberry and blueberry emerging, accompanied by spices, leather, and vegetal hints. It is warm, full, round, and characterized by a soft tannic texture. The Fumin from Les Cretes is one of those wines worth discovering and tasting; an important Aosta Valley red, capable of evoking emotions for the story it can tell.","brand":"Les Cretes","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":55591077282176,"sku":"23V03999","price":42.0,"currency_code":"SGD","in_stock":false}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0668\/1860\/5335\/files\/fumin-les-cretes-202320251203135735.png?v=1775826455","url":"https:\/\/checkout.callmewine.sg\/products\/fumin-les-cretes-2023","provider":"Callmewine UK","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
