The grapes, after being hand-picked, are fermented on their skins in stainless steel containers at controlled temperatures for several weeks. The wine is then racked and left to age for \u003cstrong\u003e8-10 months in terracotta amphorae\u003c\/strong\u003e of various sizes from Impruneta.
