It is one of the most typical and territorial expressions of Draga, a producer that is becoming known and appreciated among enthusiasts for its great white wines vinified in red.

The grapes of Malvasia Istriana that give rise to the Malvasia “Miklus” from Draga come from 15-year-old vines trained in guyot on the typical soil of Collio, called ‘ponka’, made up of layers of marl and sandstone. In the winery, the grapes are gently destemmed and then subjected to a 5-day maceration without temperature control. During fermentation, the cap of skins is reintroduced into contact with the liquid part of the must every 3 days with manual punch downs. After racking, the wine continues to mature in large oak barrels on the fine lees for 24 months.
