Its extreme elegance makes it an excellent \u003cstrong\u003emeditation\u003c\/strong\u003e wine.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis Picolit La Tunella originates from vineyards where the Picolit vines grow with the Friulian monocapovolto system in soils characterized by the so-called \"ponca\", that is, sandy marls that characterize the area of the Colli Orientali del Friuli. The low production of grapes per vine and the natural sparse composition of the clusters mean that the yield of grapes per hectare is indeed very limited. The harvest is late, and it is followed by a \u003cstrong\u003enatural drying with botrytization of the grapes\u003c\/strong\u003e for a period of 60 days. The grapes are then gently pressed, and the resulting must ferments slowly in 225-liter oak barriques, where it will then age for over two years. After bottling, before being released on the market, it undergoes another maturation period in glass.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe Picolit signed by the La Tunella winery moves in the glass with a very crystalline golden soul, crossed by light streaks that tend more towards the color of amber.
