The soils are composed of \u003cstrong\u003esandstone and schist laid on granite\u003c\/strong\u003e and are also rich in mineral substances such as kaolinite, iron, and aluminum oxide, elements that give a reddish color to the soils. The altitude ranges from 250 to 380 meters above sea level while the exposure is predominantly to the west. In the winery, the grapes, harvested entirely by hand, are vinified in red by gravity through a brief cold pre-fermentation maceration and the subsequent alcoholic fermentation in contact with the skins between stainless steel tanks and cement vats. An additional post-fermentation maceration follows, and then aging takes place in 225-liter oak barriques, large barrels of 9,000 liters, and traditional 4,500-liter cement tanks, all for a total period of 3 years.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe Rosso ‘Crescendo’ by Taaibosch has a bright ruby red color.
