The Chardonnay by La Vis is a pleasantly fresh, young, and fragrant version of this extraordinary Burgundy grape variety, present for over a century in the area of Lavis and Pressano. The average hilly altitude and the cool climate allow for the production of wines with an elegant and delicate profile, characterized by a floral bouquet, aromas of white fruit, and exotic hints. The taste is lively and taut, with harmonious fruit and a finish on mineral notes.

The white Chardonnay is produced by Cantina La Vis in the territories of the municipalities of Lavis, Meano, and the lower Valle di Cembra. The vineyards are located at an average altitude of 370 meters above sea level, with west and southwest exposure, and are trained in Guyot and simple Trentino pergola, with a planting density of 5000 vines per hectare. The soils have a sandy-loam matrix with the presence of porphyritic and fluvio-glacial sediments, characteristic of the area. The grapes are hand-harvested and after soft pressing and static decantation of the must, fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature.controlled at around 20 °C. The wine rests for a period of 5/6 months in steel on the fine lees before being bottled.

The Chardonnay by La Vis is a classic mountain wine, with a profile that especially enhances the notes of finesse and elegance typical of Trentino whites. The vinification entirely in steel brings to the forefront the varietal characteristics of the famous Burgundy grape variety, in a typical and immediate way. The color is straw yellow with greenish reflections. On the nose, it opens with delicate floral notes, aromas of white fruit, and light tropical nuances. The attack on the palate is of lively freshness, which unfolds harmoniously in a crunchy and balanced sip, culminating in the pleasant saline sensations of the finish.
