Malvasia di Borgo San Daniele is a Friulian wine that originates from the agricultural lands of the homonymous village near Gorizia. Brothers Alessandra and Mauro Mauri successfully run the family business, inherited from their grandfather in 1990. Their love and passion for the art of winemaking guide them daily in the production of quality wines that are also respectful of the surrounding ecosystem: their work philosophy follows the principles of biodynamic agriculture, choosing to focus on the cultivation of indigenous grape varieties to enhance the beauty of this territory. The label, simple yet elegant, bears the surname of the two brothers as a signature on the product.

The vineyards of Malvasia di Borgo San Daniele are cultivated with minimal human intervention: pesticides, herbicides, and synthetic substances are banned, preferring infusions of dandelion and nettle that can enrich the soil, making it fertile and suitable for the growth of vine plants. Every decision made regarding the processing of the plants and the material is first calibrated and weighed, for wines of impeccable quality. The grape harvest is manual, and the bunch is kept whole during the initial processing phases; it ferments in steel where it also ages for a few months,

Malvasia di Borgo San Daniele presents itself in the glass with a straw yellow color and brilliant reflections. The bouquet of aromas recalls flowers, fresh yellow-fleshed fruit, and a mineral hint on the finish with a note of ginger; on the palate it is soft and fruity with good aromaticity given by the Riesling and the smoothness of the Malvasia. It pairs well with a variety of dishes, although it expresses its best with delicate dishes based on white meats or steamed fish; also interesting with vegetarian dishes and fresh cheeses. An excellent wine to enjoy throughout the meal with lifelong friends for summer aperitifs by the sea or for carefree lunches in joy, sipping from the glass a product that has all the explosiveness of the Friulian land and its intrinsic potential.
