The Moscato D'Asti from I Vignaioli di Santo Stefano is a sweet sparkling wine that captivates with its joyful and convivial nature. It is both a crystalline and clear expression of the aromaticity of Moscato, however expressed with great finesse and graduality.

The winery I Vignaioli di Santo Stefano was founded by two of the most important and well-known families in the Langarola wine production scene, namely the Ceretto and Scavino families. The common intent is to enhance a grape with great potential, too often undervalued. The vineyards, ranging from 6 to 40 years old, are located at about 300-400 meters above sea level and are entirely cultivated with Moscato Bianco, also known as Moscato di Canelli. The approach in the vineyard is that of minimal intervention, so much so that practices such as racking, clarifications, and filtrations are kept to a minimum, with the aim of completely preserving the exuberant expressiveness of Moscato and its immense aromatic heritage.

The Moscato D'Asti wine immediately shows a rich and elegant perlage. Capable of delight from the very first sniff, the nose unfolds among countless fruity references including peach, and herbaceous hints of sage. The sip flows with suppleness, in constant balance between calibrated sweetness and a contribution of freshness and sapidity that enliven the tasting. It can create memorable pairings when matched with leavened sweets such as panettone, pandoro, and doughnuts, but it can also reserve further surprises when paired with fresh fruit or even with lightly aged cheeses. A bottle for which it is worth finding an excuse to celebrate!
