Taurasi 'Poliphemo' Luigi Tecce 2009

The Poliphemo of Luigi Tecce is an example of how to be conceived a valuable Taurasi: powerful and elegant at the same time, enveloping without being excessive. A great wine. Luigi Tecce is an absolute master of viticulture in Campania, a man in love with their land and its vineyards, driven by a visceral and authentic respect for nature. His human qualities and his magic touch in the vineyard are found in all its wines and, in particular, in this Taurasi. On the nose, Poliphemo releases heady chain of fruity, spicy and mineral notes. In the mouth charms for elegance and power, as only a truly excellent wine can do. After tasting the new vintages, we had the confirmation of what we think a long time: Luigi Tecce is one of the most visionary and competent producers of Italian wine. A man who knows at the same time unite pragmatism and poetry. If it is not poetic call Poliphemo their flagship wine.
