Tequila Blanco Volcàn De Mi Tierra - 70cl

Tequila Blanco was launched in 2017 by the Mexican distillery Volcan De Mi Tierra. It is the result of a collaboration between the renowned French luxury brand LVMH and the Gallardo family, who decided to join forces to create a premium brand capable of expressing the absolute excellence of this celebrated ambassador of Mexican tradition. It is the result of a rigorous selection of the finest agave varieties from the Jalisco region and a production process that follows the most ancient artisanal traditions, offering the pleasure of savouring the absolute purity, fragrance and finesse of an extraordinary tequila. 

Blanco is produced to highlight the excellence and distinctive character of Mexico’s most famous and highly regarded spirit. Tequila Volcan De Mi Tierra owes its crystalline aromatic purity to the use of exceptional quality blue agave, sourced from the Valles y Altos region. In this area, the ancient volcanic soils—composed of sand rich in basalt rocks and iron-rich elements—provide the plants with the mineral resources necessary to thrive. The agave is harvested only when it has reached maturity and is capable of delivering great aromatic intensity. The precious heart of the plant is cooked in a stone oven, in accordance with the most ancient local traditions, and then ground in a mill before fermentation begins. The distillation process takes place in classic copper stills, which ensure the utmost finesse of expression.

This Tequila Blanco, produced by the Mexican brand Volcan De Mi Tierra, directly and unadornedly expresses the volcanic character of the terroir and the classic flavour of blue agave. It is crystal-clear and transparent, with a bright, luminous appearance. The bouquet is subtle and fragrant, with vegetal notes typical of freshly cut agave, aromas of citrus and white-fleshed fruit, and mineral notes. The palate is soft, warm and smooth, with very delicate ripe fruit and a fresh, harmonious finish. It is excellent enjoyed neat, on the rocks or in cocktails.
